Why Altadena?
Chris is a proud champion of his beautiful hometown. Allisón understood why the first time he brought her here. There is a healing power in this place and its people. In the aftermath of the Eaton fire, we could think of no better place to celebrate love than in Beautiful Altadena.
-
Why June 21st?
We picked the Summer Solstice because it is the longest day of year, it represents abundance and light. Allisón is Guatemalan and Bolivian. This day marks the Aymara New Year—a time to celebrate Pachamama (Mother Earth), Inti (the Sun), and the return of light.
-
When is the arrival time?
5:00 PM– We’ll have light hors d’oeuvres and drinks available. Please arrive on time with an open spirit, ready to connect and celebrate together!
-
Where is the ceremony?
Chris’ mom, Bonnie, will be hosting the ceremony in her back yard, where Chris and his twin brother Brian once ran around as naked babies. Don’t forget to give her a big hug when you see her!
-
What time does the ceremony start?
6:00 PM
-
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by May 1st, 2025.
-
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, plus ones are not allowed unless specified on your invitation. Our backyard is small, and we have limited space, but we hope you can still join us!
-
Can I bring my children to the wedding?
We love your little ones, but this is an adults-only celebration.
-
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Yes! As long as you share the cute ones with us!
-
What should I wear?
Something that makes you feel hot! 🔥
Our wedding is semi-formal, so wear something that makes you feel good—an outfit to welcome the new year and set your intentions in style.
…also, think grass when deciding on shoes!
-
Where should I park?
There is plenty of street parking on Alameda. There aren’t many sidewalks in Altadena, so just don’t park on anyone’s front lawn.
Please Note: We’ll be keeping the driveway clear. If you’d rather not drive, using a rideshare service is another great option!
-
Will there be an open bar?
There will be plenty of wine and beer, and we are preparing a couple of special cocktails… of course, if you snuck a bottle of something in, we wouldn’t stop you. 😉
We will also have some thoughtfully crafted non-alcoholic options, so everyone has something to enjoy.
Questions?
If you have any questions about the wedding, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to help and so excited to share this special day with you!
